I think one of my favorite things is meeting a couple who has never visited Lake Tahoe and showing them just how awesome this place is. Eloping to Lake Tahoe is such a intimate and beautiful experience and I love documenting the moments for the couples that I meet. On this day it was very overcast and had been raining and cold for several days. We decided to stop at Sand Harbor to see if we could get a few photos before we lost the sun again. The couple was eager to climb on the rocks for this photos just as the clouds parted and the sun beams came down from the sky. I love the softness of the touch between the couple juxtaposed with the texture of the manzanita bushes, rocks and dense sky.
